Achievements

We purposely limit our collection to 2 releases per year (Spring Summer & Autumn Winter) and offer a year-round Core collection of garments that never go out of stock. By dedicating a chunk of our range to set styles we limit our productions, which results in less pressure on our planet. It also decreases waste, and helps consumers buy less, but more responsibly. Our Core collection can be seen as a capsule range of wardrobe essentials, that you’ll enjoy for years to come. In every collection, we include styles with sustainable qualities.

Second life fabrics
Whenever possible

For some of our menswear designs, we’ve worked with fabric brands such as Candiani Denim, who provide 100% durable fabrics. Leftover fabrics and accessories from previous seasons are saved and if possible, given a second life throughout new releases.

For our seasonal getaway competition (subscribe to our newsletters to get all the intel), we created a unique bean bag made entirely out of leftover denim. Functional ànd sustainable.

Terre Deux
Grant your garments a second life

In collaboration with okret, garments with minor production flawed were upcycled at the Future of Fashion pop-up in March 2023. Those unique pieces were then put up for sale.

Starting 2023 we’ve organised clothing pick-ups via our shops: in April 2023,  clients were invited to donate their old (and reusable) Terre Bleue pieces in one of our Terre Deux collection boxes. In October 2023, we organised the first edition of our Swapping Days. During three days, anyone could come over to our shops in Leuven & Gent to swap their Terre Bleue garments for other pre-loved styles, or simply donate in exchange for a discount voucher.

Not perfect, but worth it
A second chance for quality garments

At Terre Bleue, pieces with small manufacturing flaws do not automatically up with waste. Whether it's a difference in stitching, a print variation or missing button; slightly flawed styled are given the chance to be sold in our stores at the end of the season. Of course, we make sure to include them with the label 'I'm not perfect, but I'm worth it'. Oh, and we make sure to give a small discount when purchasing one of these styles. They're our hidden gems, fully unique in their own way.

Styled with care
Re-love your pieces

We want you to love and cherish the garments you own. To help you restyle your treasured pieces we organised styling sessions in March 2023. Sometimes all you need to fall in love again is a brand-new point of perspective.

To help you care for your garments we offer tips & tricks throughout a Care Guide, and created a range of eco-friendly, all natural Care products. We also strive to inform our clients about the benefits of washing less, and shopping responsibly.

European shoot locations
Staying close to home

To reduce our impact on the planet, we purposely shoot our collection campaigns in European countries, staying as close to homebase as possible.

For our Autumn Winter 2022 20 Years Collection, we even shot the entire campaign right here in Brussels, Belgium, using advanced green-screen technology.

For our SS24 campaign, we chose the beautiful scenery of Sicily, Italy.

Exchange opportunities
A business to business approach

When it comes to our retail dealers, we offer them a chance to exchange items for different ones during a 2-week period each collection season. We’d rather have them benefit from an offer optimised to their clientele, than have clothing end up as waste. Everyone has a different taste, so why not make a better selection? A triple win; for us, them, and the environment.
